Ben Nelson, CPA, CIA, MSA, Senior Consultant – Accounting & Financial Management

Ben Nelson is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and QuickBooks ProAdvisor with over 13 years of experience in accounting, financial management, internal audit, and financial planning & analysis. He helps business owners build strong financial systems, improve reporting, and make confident, data-driven decisions.

Before joining Above Consulting, Ben held finance and accounting leadership roles at organizations including Costco Wholesale, Curaleaf, and P.F. Chang’s. He later founded Nolan Nelson Accounting PLLC, where he provides bookkeeping, financial reporting, payroll, tax preparation, and advisory services to small businesses. Ben also serves as an Accounting Instructor with CourseCareers, where he developed a hands-on accounting curriculum focused on real-world bookkeeping and QuickBooks.
